Quotely

Quotely Support

Quotely makes quotes, simple invoices and receipts as PDF on your iPhone, ready to send on WhatsApp in under a minute. Built for freelancers and tradespeople in Brazil and Latin America.

Quotely does not issue tax documents. It does not issue a nota fiscal, NFS-e, CFDI or factura electrónica. Invoices made in Quotely say "Not a tax document" on the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a PIX QR code to my documents? (Brazil)

  1. Open Settings > Business profile > Payment.
  2. Pick your key type (CPF, CNPJ, email, phone or random key) and type the key exactly as registered at your bank. CPF and CNPJ are checked for valid digits.
  3. Check the merchant name and city: PIX allows up to 25 and 15 characters, Quotely shortens them if needed.

Every PDF then shows a static PIX QR code with the document amount, plus the "PIX copia e cola" code. On quotes with a deposit, the QR asks for the deposit. Before you send your first document, scan the QR with your own bank app and confirm the name and key. Quotely never touches the money: the payment goes straight from your client's bank to yours, with no fees from us.

And in Mexico or other countries?

In Mexico, add your CLABE (18 digits, the check digit is validated), bank and beneficiary name. In Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru, fill in the free bank fields (CBU or alias, account number, bank). The details are printed on the PDF so your client can pay you by transfer.

Why can't Quotely issue a nota fiscal, NFS-e or CFDI?

Tax documents must be issued through systems authorised by the government: in Brazil your city's NFS-e portal or the national NFS-e issuer, in Mexico an authorised certification provider (PAC) registered with the SAT, and similar systems in other countries. Quotely is for the paperwork before and after: the quote your client approves, a simple invoice or payment request, and the receipt once you are paid. If your client needs a tax document, issue it in the official system or ask your accountant.

How does sync work?

Quotely saves everything on your iPhone and, if iCloud is on, syncs it through your own private iCloud database. Use the same Apple Account on each iPhone and keep iCloud turned on for Quotely in iOS Settings. Quotely works fully offline and without iCloud; your data then stays only on that iPhone. We have no servers and cannot see your data, so we cannot recover it for you: keep iCloud on if you want a copy.

What is free and what is Pro?

Free: 1 document per calendar month (quote, invoice or receipt), with the Limpo template, PIX QR or bank details, unlimited drafts, clients and catalog items. Free PDFs carry a small "Made with Quotely" line. The count resets on the first day of each month, and you can always open and re-share documents you already made.

Quotely Pro: unlimited documents, no footer, all 4 templates, your logo and brand colour, signature and CSV export. Monthly or yearly subscription; the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Quotely Settings (or the Pro screen) and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you used to subscribe.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Quotely and tap Cancel Subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My client cannot open the PDF on WhatsApp.

Share again from the document screen and pick WhatsApp as a document (not as a photo). The file is a standard PDF named after the document and client, so it opens in any phone or computer.
